Diminutive, barefoot, almost featureless,

provide convincing artefacts:

Stonehenge, the Moai of Easter Island,
pillowcases, keychains,
an appearance in an American Greetings gift book.

He lives in a simple house with a garden
they say, or
he is often at work,
labouring in service of the strip mines.

The lower half of his torso is never seen.

Surreal affections he gives to and receives

A deity of extraterrestrial origin.

A loveable kind of loser.
